Founder - Roy Shavit
Roy Shavit, born on February 28th, 1995, in Jerusalem, Israel, has a diverse and accomplished background. From the age of 4 to 16, he lived in Hilversum, Netherlands, where he nurtured his talents as a basketball player and bodybuilding athlete.
Roy’s commitment to excellence extended beyond sports. He served as a commander in the Israel Defense Forces’ Search and Rescue unit, demonstrating his leadership and resilience.
His passion for trading and investing started at a young age, leading him to pursue a lifelong dedication to the financial markets. In 2020, during the Covid pandemic, Roy founded The Investors Academy, aiming to empower others with the knowledge and skills to succeed in investing.
Roy holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration, with a minor in Finance, from Reichman University. His academic achievements complement his practical experience as an Equity Research Analyst in Investment Banking, where he specializes in the Technology, Renewable Energy, and Oil & Gas sectors.
